i was hoping someone maybe able to help me and tell me if its worth pursuing the company who made my oven.
its a double oven but the large main oven has stopped working.
its less than a year old,was bought last december - from best buy who are now closed.
ti know i can contact the company direct and things are usually guaranteed for a year.
i say usually as the form that comes with it that you need to send back within 2 weeks to activate was never sent back (i know i know! lots going on,complete oversight).
do i not have a leg to stand on because this was never sent back??
or is it still worth contacting them and still within my rights to expect a repair as less than a year old.
please help - thankyou x

What's happening with your oven, i presume it's electric.
Is the light and fan coming on, then look at the element that's the most common thing to go wrong. You can get elements online from about £25 depending on the make, and they're not hard to fit if you're a Diyer.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

What does this mean for manufacturer's warranties?
1. What does this mean for the manufacturer's warranty I already have?
Your manufacturer's warranty package will not be affected. If your product develops a fault outside this period, please feel free to contact the manufacturer directly or call us on 0800 380 00 00 to make a claim under your manufacturer warranty or service plan.
2. How do I make a claim on my manufacturer's warranty?
If you need to make a claim under the manufacturer's warranty, please email us using the contact form at the foot of this page or call us on 0800 380 00 00.
However, if you would like to cancel the protection offered by your service plan, you can still do so as per the conditions of the service plan agreement, either using the contact form at the foot of this page or call us on 0800 380 00 00.0 -

yes its electric.
its not a fan oven....but basically the light on the dial where you turn it on isnt coming on and the oven isnt getting hot at all.
and no not a diy-er at all :-(
im just gutted we never got that form sent back now but so much was going on.0 -
If the light on the dial isn't coming on, i'd check out the fuse first.
Look under the unit to see if you can see where it's plugged in.
Have you got an instruction book with it, maybe there's a trouble-shooting bit.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
