How bad?

Following a gas explosion in a neighbouring street our house has sustained some damage, but we were told by the councils own surveyors that there is no problem with our house.

Today however we have noticed that the stone lintle (old victorian terrace house ) above the door has been blown out by a little more than 1/4". This has caused a number of bricks above the lintel to also come out by about 1/4" upto around 1/2".

Before we go panicing and calling out structural surveyors and incurring further costs, how bad is this likely to be? There are no cracks internally and externally only the mortar bed around the affected bricks is cracked. The house had new wall ties done about 5 years ago and none of the bricks where the wall ties are insterted have moved at all.

Thanks
