Hello, my first post and I can help somebody!!

    No, they aren't the same.

The Ulster Rugby credit card is offered through the Bank of Ireland.

stphnstevey, phone them on 0800 8500 444 and ask them to take the application for Ulster Rugby AFF Stnd Mastercard. Hopefully the person you speak to will comply with your request.

Apparently there is a 4 week back log - they won't do a BT within 4 weeks.

Interesting experience at the weekend. My husband had some correspondence from this Bank of Ireland. The covering letter was addressed to him, telling him what to do with all the documents enclosed. My husband is African, with an extremely unusual surname and therefore could not be close to anything in English. He has never applied for this card, since I do all the banking in his name anyway. But more to the point, the enclosed documents were for a man in N. Ireland, giving us his full name (obviously totally different from ours), address, phone number, income, how many years left on his mortgage etc. So I rang this guy, who was absolutely amazed this could happen, he took it all in good faith, I've since posted allthe documents to him at my expense! and he in turn will give the Bank of Ireland a roasting about leaking personal documents to the wrong people. Of course, usually it's the good old Post Office who probably take the flack for these blunders, as I suspect a lot of people would simply chuck it away.
