UKCPS - how can I take things further?

I was given a fine by UKCPS after "leaving the site" which was a load of rubbish.

I was fortunate enough to have immediately entered a restaurant who had registered the time that I entered and I was able to send this in as proof. I was livid to receive their response that my parking charge had been cancelled as “a one time gesture of goodwill and will not be repeated on future occasions”. This made it sound like I had done something wrong and not the incompetent member of staff who gave me the fine (or one who is incentivised with a bonus).

Any ideas how I can take my issues further?

Could you please create a new thread to ask a new question - many thanks ;)

What issue, the invoice was cancelled ? You could write to complain to the restaurant but really what do you want them to say beyond sorry? You have no financial loss on this. And by the way its not a fine!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Personally, in the circumstances, I'd certainly write to the restaurant and drop UKCPS in it with them. I'd actually refuse to accept the cancellation of the ticket as a "never to be repeated one off" until UKCPS give you written permission to use the restaurant's car park whenever you wish.

I would complain in writing via the restaurant manager, and ask him/her if they would kindly forward your complaint to whoever was responsible for allowing a well-known scam parking firm to extort money there and to put customers off a return visit.

UKCPS are rather limited with their English grammar and composition (Me too) so the letter you received was probably the best template the keyboard jockey could find to suit!

As advised write to the restaurant and complain saying you wont be using them again (even if you do);)

Write to the restaurant concerned. Make it clear you are unhappy with how this bunch of shysters is treating you - a paying customer.

Write to any other companies who are serviced by this car park making it clear that they are driving away customers. The more senior the person you reach the better.

    Write to your MP.
