Hey, wonder if anybody can help me here? I'm not sure if this is the right forum bit for it but i'll give it a go.
Basically, i used to run my own little clothing site of clothes i used to make. Only about 3 items a week and nothing particularly high value, i just did it to make a bit of extra food money as i'm a student.
I sold one item 97 days ago. i've had an facebook message off the lady saying she hasn't received the item and that she has contacted the police for a crime number and her bank about a chargeback and trading standards about me! The item value is less than £50. I'm obviously VERY worried about her going to the police about me! i sent the item by standard mail so i have no proof if she received it or not. She paid via paypal. Any help would be greatly appreciated xxxxxx

As it i way beyond the 45 day limit for claims through ebay/paypal you are ok......AS LONG as you have proof of postage.
If you have any form of proof of postage you will not lose, without proof of postage or delivery, i am afraid you WILL LOSE .
Ignore any threats about trading standards and the police,it is absolute bull****Lose is to not win......Loose is not tight......get it right!0 -
She's said that she's gone to the police to report a 'theft' and that as soon as she calls visa with the crime number they'll start a chargeback :S.0

You can start a chargeback up to 180 days after purchase (longer is some circumstances).
As a seller, if you have a certificate of posting you will win the dispute.0
