Just rang the 0800 015 0162 and a very helpful lady converted my accounts to the 4% rate with no fuss at all.
She said I should receive a pack in the post over the next few days to confirm the new rate. :T0 -

I phoned the number above today (to check -as I have another £6K to deposit) and the accounts hadn't been upgraded.
The kind gentleman upgraded them in less than a minute.
Going into a branch is a bit of a lottery, you're better off trying to phone.0 -
Went to branch when the account information came through on MSE, to upgrade old Vantage to 4% and also to open another one. The person I saw had not seen anything about this new interest rate and had to look it up online. A couple of blunders were made during the process, but sorted after 2 phone calls.
Subsequently opened 3rd Vantage account on the phone requesting the 4%. This week received pack for 1 of the new Vantage accounts with no mention of the 4%, in fact stating the old interest rates. Was then assured on the phone that the a/cs were all on the upgraded 4% (2 x DD's on each being processed) and that packs stating the new rate will be going out shortly. Why the waste of paper/postage/time sending 2 packs of information for each acc?
On the phone I was asked to register to receive Lloyds marketing material and declined. The guy said "but you may miss out if we were to offer a 20% interest rate!". I said that I already knew about the 4% interest rate before the bank staff did, and he didn't believe me! So MSEers, be sure to post when that 20% interest rate comes along"The things you take for granted somebody else is praying for." - Morgan Freeman0 -

I have accepted the 'marketing bumph' option on one account. They never sent me anything at all about the 4% Vantage. To be fair, they don't send me much other stuff, either.0 -

I called this number.
I failed the first time as I did not pass the security questions. I passed on the second call and was told the 4% would be applied to all my Vantage accounts. This took barely 2 minutes - both the operators sounded extremely rushed and it may have been my imagination that the second one was relieved I did not require any further assistance. Perhaps they have been besieged by MSE savers.
She did say the 4% will take 24 hours to process, an info pack will be sent in the post, the new rate will not show in online banking, and the rate ends 31/10/13.
I have opened a Tesco Internet Saver account and set up Direct Debits for the Lloyds accounts - many thanks to the poster/s who suggested this.0 -
Went into a branch last week to change over 2 accounts, and had to spend 25 minutes with the branch manager who wouldn't apply the change unless I switched my wages to the account.

Counter staff didn't know what to do, supervisor didn't, so I got called into an office and was basically quizzed along the lines of how come it was so much? As though somehow I had paid in too much (which isn't possible of course). I pointed out I had ISAs from the start and a TESSA before that. I was annoyed and took it back. Old enough to know better too. LTSB bloke I mean, not me!
Quite - I decided a phone call would be a great improvement on a visit to branch.0 -

Visiting a branch is more like Russian Roulette in my experience
Branch staff didn't have a clue, promised to upgrade and didn't, promised to phone if there was a problem, and didn't
0800 015 0162 staff however, helpful and efficient0 -
how have people managed to register more than 3 accounts for the 4% rate?!?!?0
