Can I set up a DD using one (or more) of the other account numbers for the other Vantage accounts? And I don't quite understand this thing about test payments to verify. Where does the money come from and go to?
I mainly use PayPal for eBay purchases and this is how it works for me:
Log into PayPal and from menu bar select 'Profile', then 'My Money'
The screen shows Bank Accounts and Debit & Credit Cards currently linked to your PaypPal account with the facility to update them
Select 'Update' next to 'Bank Accounts' and on the next screen you can add your Lloyds Vantage accounts and choose which, if any you want as your 'Primary' account -which is where PayPal will take money from unless you change the choice which you can do for each purchase.
To confirm the account is actually yours, PayPal send 2 very small test payments to your account. The final stage is to check what payments were made to your bank accounts and then confirm them through the PayPal process as above. After that any payments you make from those accounts are taken by PayPal as DDs.
It takes several days for the payments to appear though (for me 3 and counting)

Can't help with this one - sorry. Just enter as it appears?0 -
Just remembered that I have two unused Principality esavers which allows DDs.0

Is a credit check required to upgrade from a classic account to classic vantage? The chap at Lloyds says yes, but forgive me for not trusting a word most of them say...0
-
I wouldn't have thought so, but I just got a welcome pack in the post welcoming me to my "new classic account with vantage". (I've only upgraded one so far.) Wouldn't have expected one of those for just a minor upgrade either. (And it didn't mention the 4% interest anywhere.)0

These appeared on my LTSB account on Wednesday (so 2 days later), but each Vantage account only has the one DDI listed.
So, they seem to be using the same DD reference for both Tesco accounts, ie
0004xxxxxxxx/yyyyy
where xxxxxxxx is one of my Tesco account numbers.
The other numbers mean nothing to me, but I'm assuming the yyyyy is some kind of code for an internal re-direct to my other Tesco account?
Have they messed up? To those who said this would create 2 DDs, ie one for each account, do I have a get-out? Maybe re-set up DDs myself online from the other Tesco account, ie the one that's not the xxxxxxxx above?
Logging on to my Vantage accounts tonight, all 4 DD are showing.
Two having the first Tesco account as the reference number and
Two having the second Tesco account as the reference number.

I opened 2 Tesco savings accounts 2 days ago and set up a DD from each of them to 2 Vantage accounts (4 DD in total).
Logging on to my Vantage accounts tonight, all 4 DD are showing.
Two having the first Tesco account as the reference number and
Two having the second Tesco account as the reference number.

If I hadn't already moved 3 credit card DDs over I'd maybe try creating them again myself online, but suspect I'd have had to delete them first?
The race was on to get the 4% rate applied ASAP (especially since I now have £15K sat there!), so I'm happy I've gone the right way in doing the CC DDs.0 -
Received my goodwill payment from Lloyds today and have set up DD's though none as yet are showing. Been into branch today to confirm their !!!!-up had been fully rectified and my accounts were showing at the 4% rate.
For anyone who wants to check with LLoyds those accounts which have been accepted at the new rate will have an internal coding of 380/13 attached to it. Those accounts which don't will state 380/05.
Just awaiting my 20K from MBNA now though i can move some from a 3.20% account in the meantime.0 -

LOL, I had 3 of these for my upgrades....as you say, no mention at all of the 4%. They could have at least dropped in one of the "4% flyers" they have in Branches. But preferably, a short letter to confirm the upgrade to the 4% offer would have been the professional thing to send.
As it is, they have embarked on a massive waste of paper.0 -
Yes had three of these packs in the post, no changes to the pack still referring to the 3% top vantage rate.
Very poor Lloyds TSB0
