Guitar advice please, Ovation Applause?

She tried loads of guitars in the shop and it was this one that felt most comfortable for her. the 'normal looking' guitars I think were maybe on the big side she had to almost stretch to reach over. this one has a rounded back so it kind of fitted into her more. She should have had nylon strings when she started, but her guitar came with steel strings and her teacher has said since she has been using steel strings from the start she's fine / better to stick with them. (sound right?)

This is what I plan to do, for that reason, (the back up support) I'm just trying to buid up the courage to go in and ask them to do a deal. i'm just so rubbish and i've asked a couple of people to come with me and they've umm and ahhed and not said they would:( her birthday is next week so i really need to get my !!!! in gear in the next day or 2.

Using steel strings is probably for the best as her fingers have got used to them by now, using nylons from the start she would still have to get used to steel string eventually. So the guitar teacher was right.

I was a bit nervous buying online, didn't want to pay a lot of money and needed it to come in time for Xmas. The guitar came the next day very well packaged. Beautiful instrument and my daughter was so happy. Plays beautifully and my son who has an expensive guitar couldn't believe the quality.
