For this, I would suggest not communicating via 3rd parties. It does not address the problem and indeed if he sees that it has the desired effect of keeping you out of the way, he will just continue with and escalate the aggression.
This needs bringing to a head. Ask him questions when you need to ask him. Don't bother with saying hello or pleasantries. When you have a bad interaction, email his line manager with the question you asked and the response you got. cc in whoever is stakeholder within your organisation for the answer you require.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
