The new Sunday to Friday challenge - 25 March

Good afternoon lovely DFWs
I am having a little deja vu...
I see the 'how much...' has been set up already but it is Sunday so it's time for updating on last week's challenge and budgetting for the new one! You didn't think you got away from it, did you? :rotfl:
So, here's last week's list. Let's have some updates and new amounts please! Especially from all those newcomers
Challenger Amount Actual spent
I did really badly last week as you can see. I was doing fine until I decided to go out with a friend on Friday and I really didn't give a thought to the budget. She spoilt me and got me lunch and coffee but I still spent money buying make-up etc
Silly moo
I am going to go for £20 this week and here's hoping my self control has returned!
Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.
The reason the challenge is up to Friday is that I like to give myself a day off the counting and let my hair down a bit :rotfl: (or a lot as in this past week!)
Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

I spent £25

I would have been well in budget but as it was my last day at work on friday then i bought presents for my friends and cakes for my department
Next week will try harder
This week will try another £20 (not including petrol)March 2006 £15,200+ in debt April £843.64 in debt - Debt Free date Sept 2009
Egg Credit Card - £843.64 5.7%0 -

Can I say £25 for the week? Not including petrol or food etc
I have a bit of a subway thing going on at lunch time and combined with a doet coke habit lunchtime money has got a little out of control
I'm going to take the money out of the bank and not allow my cards with me at work!
We're just about to (hopefully! *crosses fingers*) buy this house, so we need all the pennies we can get hold of!Trying to get on top of finances one step at a time0 -
good morning moozie (body not quite got used to the missed hour! :rotfl: )
well last week I was almost good! like you I did super till friday when I got a pizza takeaway with friends, but we used a 50% off voucher I had which meant we all stuffed ourselves silly for £4.50 each! thats better value than jimmy chungs!!!
final total for last week was £27.34 so an overspend by £2.34, about to get showered for my stint on the naughty seat with jack tonight
ps spent £2.52 on munchies last night for babysitting, much cheaper than a night out but I was still out of my flat
next friday is payday so I'm feeling very :j about it especially due to all the overtime I've been doing, fingers crossed to reach an extra digit on the total!
budget for next week is £15 on food again as I've a few one off bits I'm needing, I've got £12 cash in my purse, hoping to only spend £5ish of it during the week so the rest can be used for a payday chinese take away so
£27 budget.
