If you have PPI and were mis sold then yes you can.
If you got the car from a dealer and you signed the documents with them for the loan and the PPI then put the claim in to the dealer.0 -
I am pursuing one of these from Sanderson Motorhouse, part of C D Bramall, part of Evans Halshaw, part of Pendragon Group. Phew!
It dates from 2001, FOS told me that as the dealer was not affiliated to a recognised organization it would be difficult to make a claim.
The PPI Policy was with London General Insurance, part of The Warranty Group. I have made a claim with them which they have rejected as they say they were not responsible for selling the insurance.
The loan was from GE Capital Woodchester, now part of Santander Consumer Finance who also rejected the claim.
I have full documentation which FOS now have. Could be a very long wait.0
