Can anyone advise.
I have a set of kitchen knives i would like to sell?
Just wondering if i can sell them via ebay.
I have had a look on ebay and see that people do sell kitchen knives / blocks ect, but they seem to be business sellers.

I got a slap on the wrist for listing a vintage set of fish knives and forks a while ago. I was going to argue it with eBay as it didn't breach their rules, but decided it wasn't worth risking my blood pressure over.
Strangely enough I also got a telling off on a Facebook selling page for a similar item as they said kids might hurt themselves? That was on the same selling page that allows legal highs to be sold along side fake Cartier sunglasses, dodgy Nike trainers and very dodgy DVDs (Film still only on cinema release)
I can only assume that the sort of person using my local Facebook selling pages do not teach their children to eat using a knife and fork.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Definitely don't list. I listed a set of kitchen knives in a knife block and they were pulled within hours and I got a compliance warning from eBay.
I'm a top rated business seller so don't think it makes any differenceYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
You cannot sell one knife in a block but it's ok to sell 12 serrated and sharp steak knives!0

Mine were only fish knives and I still got a slap, you couldn't even cut butter with them!
I've still got about 3 sets of them and apart from car boots have no way of selling them on at the moment.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Strangely enough a few months ago I successfully sold 2 sets of them without issues, which shows eBay are very inconsistent.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I listed a vintage Man from Uncle cap gun. It was pulled and I got a warning under the Firearms rule. They said it looked too realistic :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
