Mis-measured or unwanted patio doors?

Hi all
I am building a new extension for my kitchen and need to source some aluminium bi-folding doors to the patio/garden. As it is a new build, the opening can be any size I like, so I would ideally like to use a second-hand door.
Does anyone know where I can source mismeasured or ex display bi-folding doors or other fittings at all? Trade outlets or something like that?
Your help is much appreciated!

Mismeasures are common, I've benefited from it several times, as you say the key is that you can cut the hole to any suitable size.
Check out ebay, has worked for me, and call all local window manfs.
Be prepared to wait a while, but you could save about 70% of the cost of a bespoke set of doors. :money:at its best.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Just reread and cannot understand why you would want aluminium doors this day and age???
Go hardwood or pvc, too many condensation issues with ally.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Not really as the new type are "thermally broken" So no transfer of heat/cold outside to inside.
Ally allows slimmer profiles as a stronger material allowing more glass and therefore more light,0 -

Yes that's the theory I know, but in practice you'll probably find it's not the case.
But I do prefer the rigidity of all over plastic, inspite of steel reinforcement inserts in decent plastic windows.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Call your local uPVC installers, chances are they'll have something in their yard that's been mismeasured and will do the trick!0
