Spark Plug Removal on a VW Polo
I have a 2003 1.2 liter VW Polo.
I can't for the life of me remove the spark plugs. They must be quite a small size as even my smaller plug spanner cannot do the job.
I find it hard to understand how such a simple is rendered so difficult by VW. Can anyone suggest what size plug spanner is required?

Probably a 16mm plug spanner. Take the lead off and shine a light down there.
You may need to remove the top cover (4 bolts), You may need a long bar also.
Make sure you gap them correctly, Dont just take them out the packet and fit them.
They will fit many cars so need to be gapped correctly.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

As I understand it, the VW started out as the Arbeitnehmerwaschmaschine (Peoples washing machine) but they couldn't cure the vibration problem, so the just fitted bigger wheels and changed the marketing strategy.
