in Credit cards
I had a hire car loaned to me via Landrover assistance from Enterprise due to a botched repair from a landrover dealer.
I collected the car on the 16th March and returned it to the Landrover dealer at 08:30 19th March. I had driven it 150 miles on M8 and local A roads (not offroad).
I then get a call from Enterprise on the 20th March stating the tyre is damaged, I explained i had not been anywhere to damage it and that they should contact Landrover.
No further communication.....
Just checked last months Credit card bill and I have seen £200 from enterprise. No invoice, details or anything.....
Any advice?

What does the check in and check out reports say about the tyre(s)?0

if you puncture the tyre, you get chargedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

You will have already have agreed to the possibility of charges (it is is the contract you signed at takeover). The difficulty is in what they define as tyre damage - this is a 'consumable' and they don't mess about, a replacement is fitted immediately and the last customer billed.
You may have not been aware of damage being caused, but knowing the area well - I would not be in the least surprised if a local pothole caused the damage. You can certainly insist they provide more information, but as they already have the money they're not going to be too bothered you're upset about it,0 -

If they don't reply (within a reasonable time of course) I would move into starting a claim with the issuer who will then start a chargeback against them and they suddenly will care.0
