WTC reclaim

We have received a letter from WTC - claiming back amost £300 from last TY - I finished my job and closed my WCT on April 4th 2011 - they carried on paying us for another month (as expected) - and then stopped
I have received a statement claiming back almost £300 from this period - claiming to have paid us over £450 - when I checked the bank account - the amount that they paid us was a mere £250 - what can I do ?

Sometimes the payments don't match if they award was for example, £450 but they paid you £250 and put £150 towards some earlier overpayment.

Not sure anyone will be able to help really, as the only people who will know why the figures don't match is HMRC. I would suggest you ring the helpline.
