ACS in Liverpool was found to be placing bogus and multiple identical job vacancies for paralegal work in the Merseyside area. Best avoiding.Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0

Axomoxia - interestly, it's the large firms with HR departments who all seem to use agencies. I know some firms with 2 or 3 in HR and yet they still use agencies.Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. and assumed you were also looking for work in the charity and NFP sector. :cool:
NFP = Not For Profit.
I just had a look at this site. Most of the "jobs" advertised are for unpaid volunteers!0 -

Yes, there are a lot of well paying jobs in London area as I see it.0 -
I called a recruitment agency after seeing a job posted on the job centre website. It had only been posted that day so i called them and got asked to their office where I had a sort of interview and had to fill in a ton of paperwork. After which i got told that actually the job wasn't available but it might be should orders pick up. In the meantime I should phone in each day to check if any jobs were available.
Despite saying this i think they got fed up of me calling everyday and told me they would call me. I never heard a thing from them.0 -
Now a days in the hard hit economic weather, everyone is interested in "clinging" to their own job, rather than doing it to satisfactory levels.
I get a feeling that all these fake job adverts and covering up of information is a part of that clinging attempt. Not just recruiting agents, even the managers of hiring companies themselves could be adopting this strategy because talking to recruitment agents can of course be a "filling up" and "be busy" looks.0 -

Another common pattern in response - The client has found one "internal candidate" to fullfil the role. !0
