Removing Speedfit Plastic Isolating Valve

Options
I am trying to remove a Speedfit Plastic Isolating Valve as can be seen in the link below160103 from under my sink. After turning off the water, do I just need to pull the pipe out by holding down on the grey bits or is there something I need to screw. Also is it reusable in that I just push the pipe back in after I finish?

  • I believe there is a little tool you can get to do this but essentially yes it just pushes the grey bits in and you have to make sure it stays well pushed in and then pull hte pipe out. Yes you can re-use but make surethe O-Ring is not damaged and the insert (if a plastic pipe) is still in the pipe. Sorted

Just pull the grey bits in to the fitting body and pull the pipe out.

No need for any special tools on speedfit. That is Hep fittings you need a tool for.

Yes it is fully re-usable afterwards.

If you are good you can do the Hep ones without the special tool too.

    Cheers
