Hi
I was forwarded an email from my buyer's solicitor to say she is going in to sign today and asking if there is a preferred completion date. Does that sound like a possible exchange will happen today or tomorrow?

It sounds like you are nearly there, have you signed your contract?
Reply with your preferred completion dates, and once she agrees to one of them, the solicitors can exchange. You need an agreed completion date to exchange.

Blimey this waiting is hard. I've not heard from the solicitor yet, my buyer is signing today and everything else is ready. How do you stay calm??0

I don't - not in the slightest!! We were told we were looking to exchange "early this week"... and it's now looking like it'll be Friday (decidedly end of the week) at least!
To be honest, I feel like screaming and shaking someone until they tell me what exactly the delay is... surely someone must know?You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -
we're still waiting for their sol to say what day they want to complete in the week they suggested. Why they couldn't do that in one go??0
