slap message

I've just received a message from eBay saying I'd breached one of their community policies (No8 refusing to follow eBay staff instructions or directions) But I didn't receive any instructions or directions and my post was advising a buyer not to close a case before receiving their refund, so why it was reported is a mystery.

However, my question is whether this message from eBay represents some kind of a 'black mark' against me?

I suddenly became very paranoid about it because although I was using a posting ID, I have a selling account that I don't want to be impacted by any policy breaches.

Does anyone know anything about this and hopefully reassure me that this isn't the end of my selling career on eBay and that I'm making a mountain out of a molehill?

It's 5 am and I can't sleep for fretting.

(And I'm never going to go to the eBay discussion area again other than to read- it's like big brother if you can't innocently help someone out on those boards without being reported, it's horrible and it's upset me a lot actually)

Don't fret. It will not impact your seller status.

I've had dozens of them. They are over zealous usually, but the reason they nip things in the bud is because the boards do get rather lively!

Although I had a look this morning and my posting ID has been denied access to the community area completely. That makes me feel that I've done something really seriously wrong and I'm being punished for something but it's a Kafka novel. I do hope and pray you're correct.
