advocate or frontline as treatemnts, BM is pretty poor.
If you do change foods do it slowly introducing the new one in stages over a week or two at least.0 -
thanks.will get the frontline then, other people have said the same.
i 'm not planning on changing it unless anyone has prior experience of problems etc.LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
I had to reply on this post to please please beg you not to use ANY bob martin products on your puppy. They are lethal. We lost a kitten due to this poison. Type in Bob Martin reviews on google, you will see what I mean. I would suggest slowly changing the puppy's food to something like arden grange or james well beloved, read the guideline amount he should have and split it into 3 meals, at about 6 months split it into two meals. It's up to you whether you keep it at two meals, but when my collie got to 18months he now has his daily amount in one meal. Also, many vets will tell you that frontline is not as effective as it used to. Advocate is very good and also contains some wormers as well, I use advocate, but i have also heard stronghold is very good.
If your puppy gets the best at the beginning you will get years of enjoyment put of him. Most of all enjoy it, there is nothing like having a puppy in the house.'No one can make you feel bad without your permission'

I would echo what spendaholic has said about Bob Martins, but would add that around here, Frontline is no longer effective. Please discuss what works in your area with your vet.
Enjoy your puppy, and we need photos!Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -

Get prescription flea treatment from your vet, there is resistance to Frontline and Bob Martin. Some products also cover other parasites so can work out economical. Read the meat content on the different foods you are considering, this is a good indication of the quality and value for money.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

The one our vet supplies for our two greyhounds protects against lungworm as well as other parasites. You can buy it from the vet and administer it yourself - but please wear disposable gloves just to be on the safe side.0

Whataver you do - stay away from Bob Martin stuff, google it and see what it does, terrible thing, should be banned0
-
Also keep away from bakers or pedigree foods as its the equivalent of feeding a child e numbers, definitely don't need to make a puppy more hyper lol0

Some fab advice here and I've got nothing to add, but congrats and can we see some pics of the new arrival please ?0
