Highview Parking Fine - multiple fines - advice?

Hello,
I have received a parking fine for £50 from Highview Parking. I have read all of the advice here on the forum about ignroing the invoices as they are not actually fines however I think I could have clocked up about 10 of these fines from the same car park as the pub at which I parked at was closed down and so I believed the car park would therefore be free (previously you had to go into the pub to pay, so no way of paying for parking anymore).
I have read a small number of cases are taken to court and although I realise it's a long shot, considering I have a possible 10 of these invocies, would it be worthwhile for them to concentrate on me to pay up?
Or like everyone else, is it just as easy for me as it is anyone else to just ignore them?
Thanks in advance!

There is a possibilty that they may try court, but I have never seen them try that, and in 2011 they never went there once (as far as i am aware) according to a FOI request on the courtsExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
If the pub was closed down, then the landowner's damages would be zero. It's not like you are taking up trade from the pub.
Enjoy the car-park when it lasts, quite a few old pubs in these parts are now houses, developers can fit a good 4/5 houses on a site of an old pub (depending on the size of the car-park).
Ignore Highview, they will soon go away, although it might be worth trying to get in touch with the landowner seeking permission to park on his/her land.0 -
Off course if the land-owner wanted to protect his/her land when they consider the options they could easily put up a fence blocking access to the car-park. Or even putting a large chain across the entrance.0

The pub was closed and on the door they had a notice saying 'closed until further notice', however yesterday the sign changed and now says 'closed for refurb, do not park as automatic fine will be issued', obviously from Highview. The car park was still open as it was before, i.e. no chains or fences as mentioned above.
Thanks for all the advice!0 -

A fine eh?! :rotfl:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Does it really use the word 'fine'??

Probably does.
I passed a hotel yesterday, had 2 signs on the side of a brick wall as you went into the car-park "private car-park, clamping and fines operate" Some landowners are not smart up on the law regarding fines0
