Large house as a holiday rental

Hi everyone

Can anyone recommend a large house to rent as a holiday home for a long weekend? There are 14 of us in total and I am really struggling to find somewhere that is reasonably priced.

We are looking at somewhere in the 2 hour drive region of Manchester.

When would you want to go and what do you call reasonably priced - I know a couple but depends on the above.

We are at the moment considering it for New Years eve but may change our dates so any suggestions welcome.

As for reasoanbly priced, we are thinking of less than the £2000 mark if possible, we could go up a bit more but not much.

New Year's Eve is tricky - the ones I was thinking of are completely booked. Will pm you with other info.

At other times you will easily find somewhere sleeping 14 for under £2k for a 3 night weekend. Quite a few specialist websites eg groupaccommodation.com, bigholidayhouse.com though 14 isn't particularly big.
