Oh thanks everyone! I was suspicious of it as its in the neighbours garden and has grown all through their trees on their boundary and is making its way onto mine where ours trees meet at the bottom.
Its a big huge thing about 20 ft high in places. I've no other plants or anything down in that corner.
Will it damage my trees? Should I just leave it to let it grow onto my trees or chop wee bits off if they come over?

I'd leave it. I have honeysuckle and it smells gorgeous. The only thing which might you off leaving it is that it smells strongly at night to attract moths as they pollinate it but I haven't seen many round mine.

Depends what trees you have I would keep it pruned back but allow a little growth its a great plant for encouraging pollinating insects

Just evergreen trees, a row of 12 about 20ft high. Quite happy to leave it if it will grow alongside without killing them off. Next doors trees seem to be fairing well but this plant has really came on this year as I never even noticed it last year and now its huge!

It's honeysuckle. It smells great, attracts moths and insects and with them the bats.

Get have a dozen dashing back and forth over my garden in the evening.

Also helps feed the garden birds, who keep the neighbours cats happy ............
