    Oh dear - Love and money are two different things. I met the love of my life (and yes still is) at Uni. He had a house with equity and was working and I was still a student when we moved in together.

    I suggested a lean on his deposit on our home, he did not wish that but I insisted.

    22 years later if I found that contract I'd rip it up! only jesting I would still honour it but I think you need to protect your assets and money aside from love.
