Nationwide we-site has disappeared!

I wanted to log in to my on-line banking, but even the main page has vanished! Has anyone else experienced this?

Does this mean that Nationwide itself has gone? And what happens about the money I had with them?

I really, really hope you're trolling.

I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Just announced this morning, they are bankrupt. All your money is gone.

As someone who rang me once asking for my bank account details... "Sir, we have to suspend your account for a small while as we need to clean the vaults. To ensure we keep all of your money together, please confirm your sort code and account number."

They hung up when I said "Ok, but you rang me, you first." (Naturally with pauses to make them excited, and then drop them like a bomb!)

I gave them one of HMRC's accounts for tax payments or something.
