Avoid Dreams bed. We popped in and were given the hard sell and agreed to buy a bed from them. The order was placed and we will give a two date when the bed would arrive. Due to this we sold our bed and took a day off work so we were there to recieve the bed. Three days before the due date I received a phone call stating the bed would be there on time. The day before the bed was due we had a phone call stating the bed was broken and would not be coming. We had to do on the chasing and getting to speak to anyone was very difficult. Dreams agreed after alot of chasing to send us a new bed but it would take four weeks. We accepted this and endured sleeping on the floor. Three days before the second due date we recieved a phone call and email stating the time/date the bed would arrive. Again a day before the bed was due to had another phone call saying once more the bed had been broken and would not be sent. Again we chased and chased with no joy. At one point I called the Chelmsford store to be told "Ive made 18 phone calls on your behalf!" As if they were doing me a favour:mad:. The manager made contact with us and said he had arranged for a new bed to be built and it would be rushed through. We were promised the bed would be with us on the 6th August. We again agreed this. However yesterday (1st August) the branch called again and asked if we would like the bed re-ordered and it would be with us by the 16th August. I explained that the bed had already been re-ordered and would be with us on the 6th. No it wont they informed me, it has never been re-ordered! So it will be two months with no bed! Dont use Dreams there service and customer care is awful once you have signed the order.
