Co-op praise

Co-op made my day.

I love powerade and atm they have bogof £4.34 on a 4 pack.

However, in the reduced section was 3 lots of powerade, each at 89p!

I bought 2 which came through as 89p BOGOF so got 8 powerade for 89p

Sent my OH to get the remaining pack (and see if he can find another one )

Made my day, this has never happened to me before (despite reading it on these boards)

Glad you got a bargain! Personally I hate the stuff and find it putrid tasting.

Wouldn't sell the remaining one to OH as 'it's out of date'.

Nevermind the fact it's a bbe date and he argued that but still more waste to landfill >.<

Were the ones they did sell you out of date too? Bit hypocritical of them to sell you them and refuse the other if they were.

Yeah, exactly the same, dated July 2012 so a day over.

I love the Co Op and their quirky ways too.

Several years ago when it became "law" that health warnings and scary pics were on fag packets, they sold all the packets off that did not comply with new legislation at half price!!!
