APCOA letter from Graham White Solicitors-Worry or ignore?

Hi all, right got a pcn from the cowboys at Luton for dropping my mum off back in May I think it was. Anyway I did as everyong here does with these things, binned the first letter and the second too. Now this has come through the door.

So anyway, they adding charges etc but basically I'm assuming I just carry on ignoring them?

Might be an idea to blank out your name, although the PPCs will probably already have your name linked to your forum name.;)
  • Cheers all, ummmm re the name, I know, why are people worried about their name being displayed? I made sure my address was obviously not but my name is my name?

I was disappointed that there was no red ink.

So, to be clear, the actually costs incurred to date + £Nil

They have not submitted a claim
The solicitor has not been engaged to submit it
    Judgment has not been entered
    No warrant has been obtained
The solicitor hasn't had to apply for a warrant.

And quite how did APCOA incur losses totalling £131 in your dropping your Mum off - because all that they could possibly seek to recover is a genuine pre-estimate of their loss?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Yes but best to cover it up just in case

We have some stalkers on here who work @ various parking companies
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

Not sure why you needed to scan a letter in that already appears on the letters chain pictures thread?

You should just be playing snap with the letters by now. See my signature if newbies are not aware how to click back one click to the main forum threads list. The thread you need is currently second from the top 'PPC letters & threats'.

It's so easy to ignore and play snap with these standard template letters, no need to show the letters each time. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks all just needed some reassurance was all.

Im not bothered about my name being viewable to be honest, I know of 3 others with the same name in a 20 mile radius and none are even relatives :-)

As for the scanning of the letter I did actually read the "Welcome read this first" and it didn't say I shouldn't upload it or there were copies already online etc (although I have now but it says theyre not being sent anymore, which is odd as I have this one right here).

I just thought that it was better to show exactly what was said to avoid any possibility of ambiguity or miscommunication and it only took about 30 seconds anyway from taking the picture to upload.

I've just updated that sticky as I agree the PPC Letterchains thread wasn't as prominent as it should have been.

Regarding your name and the account reference visible on your scanned docs, you're being advised to remove them because the PPC can identify you. Whether you're comfortable with that is your decision to make but we're just giving you a friendly heads-up :)
