Hi All,
We are doing a ski drive through France over Easter and looking for somewhere cheap to stay on route . I have seen formula1 hotels these seem reasonable at £20 for a room but are limited to 2 adults & 1 child , There are 4 of us so woundered if we could sneak another in .
We are doing this on a budget so needs to be cheap.
Alternativly any suggestion for using tesco vouchers in france.
Cheers

Ibis and Premiere Classe are two motel type places on most motorways, also there is a chain called Campanile that may be on your routes0

You can as the reception is not manned 24 hours
BUT
The room is very small and the bed just about takes two people.
There is an overhead SMALL bunk type bed that would suit a child.
Depends how big your kids are really.0 -
formula 1 don't have their own toilet in the room and is generally used by truckers etc
try https://www.hotel-bb.com which have 4 bedded rooms but are slightly more expensive at about 54 euros per night dependant on where you stayI haven't got one!0 -
have a look here regarding accommodation on route to the Alps, it looks good

Not sure where in France you are going, but we stayed in this hotel on the way to Les Menuires at the end of Feb. Really decent hotel with en-suite facilities, pretty much Holiday Inn type standard. They do triple rooms and online for 6th April (Good Friday) they have triples for 92euros per room. Breakfast is on top, but we found we left early and grabbed a pain au chocolat at the services whilst filling up with fuel.

I was against F1 for the lack of private facilities, but some people swear by them. I was told you have to experience them once, but not me!
Also recommended to us were Campanile, Logis De France, Etap, Ibis or http://www.hotelbb.fr/
Have a good journey0 -
Many thanks
Lots of good info.
