Over 75 Travel insurance

Hi there
I am looking for travel insurance for my mother, who is 76. She is in excellent health and every two years visits my brother in Australia. This year, as she is over 75 I am struggling to find a travel policy. She visits for just under 90 days and I am getting quotes through of over £900. Can anyone recommend a company that can give a more acceptable quote please.
Thanks
Laura

It's a real problem for older travellers, just when you have the time and money to travel, they bump up the insurance. Have you tried age UK or Saga?0

Give Liverpool Victoria (LV=) a try.
We always found them reasonable until now when OH, aged 82, has medical conditions and they quote very reasonably for European travel, but won't include his medical conditions.
I can't comment on your length of time away, or distance, though. We've never travelled as far.0 -
Also try http://www.rias.co.uk/travel-insurance/
They appear to do a "long stay" policy which might suit your needs. In the FAQs they say they will cover up to age 89 on single trip policies over 31 days.
Another over 50s company you could try is
