Hi
Does anyone know the cost of fitting a isolator switch between the electricity meter and fuse board as i am looking to get this changed in the near future is the responsibility of the electrical supplier or can a electrician fit this?

NPower did mine free of charge. just had to ring them up to request it0

If it was a new build then yes a sparky could do it if the meter tails have not been connected.
If the meter tails are connected and are live then technicall no a sparky cant do it as it means cutting the meter / fuse seals which leccy boards dont like you doing. Most suppliers will fit one for you foc, ring their customer services up and ask.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
