Who gave negative advice? Reading this thread I feel, probably like many others, that everyone in this thread was trying to help you. It's not anyone's fault they did not know you don't like Sky or TalkTalk - They are not mind readers!

He didn't mention negative advice - I didn't read his post in this way at all - he was simply thanking people for their replies.0 -
Without wanting to linger on this thread, etc - I think that at the time (the way I read it) is that people were making suggestions and Jolly Roger was writing them off.....perhaps because of what he had been told by "The Locals" :rotfl: Up to that point I wouldn't of made a comment, but his comment was then as I quoted - In other words, why state:
Many thanks for all of those who have given Positive Advice.
Why mention positive advice? A better reply would of been:
Thanks EVERYONE......I am cancelling......
He then went on, quite rightly, to thank Gonzo but in an isolated way (again, the way it comes across to me) - This came across as he was just thanking or pointing out Gonzo in general (i.e. not putting emphasise on ALL / EVERYONE). Again, something like:
Thanks EVERYONE, especially Gonzo for the advice about......
Anyway, I think Jolly Roger (hopefully still Jolly) got a satisfactory answer; so that's all what counts at the end of the day.
