Can someone tell me what it says on the student loan declaration when deferring. It says something like not earning above a certain amount of the next two months.

I graduated last year and am taking a year off and earning below the threshold. I've heard nothing from SLC but am I supposed to tell them about my situation? I'm worried about getting a fine for not paying back the loan even though I'm not really earning so don't need to ????
