So I am a member of the Ta and have just been made redundant from my regular job, I have just put a claim in for JSA and im waiting for that to be proccessed . I was wondering what affect does my Ta earnings have on my JsA claim or visa versa . All info I seem to get contradicts each other .

are TA payments classed as income or expenses(to cover cost?)0

Payment of JSA is usually affected by hours worked and earnings - there is no limit on hours due to work for the TA. Earnings however for your drill nights (if in a regional unit) and/or training weekends are counted as a wage and will affect payment of JSA.
Something very recently has changed and your claim will not close down for your annual camp (they have to leave a residual 10p in payment) so that HB and CTB are not affected. I only saw this in the last week or two and to be honest didn't really read it properly.
