no sure thats correct, what about performance saloons that come as standard with different tyres front and back, space is a space saver and I assume that this is legal as its a temporary solution (just not sure how you would prove to a jobsworth PC if stopped with the OPs situation)0

Contact the seller and tell them you've dropped a clanger, you'll have to pay some charges to get them returned and the correct ones delivered.
Not worth the risk of insurance and possibly police probelms.0 -

increased ride height of 18mm not going to affect anything,
But use them in pairs on the rear - assuming your front is where the speedo readings are taken, otherwise it will indicate 70 when you are actually doing 74.5mph0 -
Cheers all for the replies. Think I will give them a shout, see how much to return/replace, but dont think I will like the answer so probably end up on the rear. Its just a bog standard everyday car, so not usually hammered. A couple bags of sand in the back should sort out the difference in height ;-)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Do you have a full size spare ?
If you do and one of your new ones gets a puncture you're going to end up with odd size tyres on the same axle which is not only illegal but dangerous.0 -

How does this work on cars with different size tyres front and back (Honda s2000 for example) The car comes with a space saver, and if you get a rear flat, you are instructed to put a front tyre onto the rear, and fit the space saver to the front, so totally messing up the tyre sizes.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Mine has 185/65/15...... I don't think you should risk it. I think it's best you donate them to someone who uses that size myself...0
