what's the best deal for having tv aerial fitted ready for digital?

whichever.
but it wouldnt cost much to find out if a loft aerial will work ok.
(if it dont, then use the same aerial on the roof).
ps. just use a portable tv on the landing under the loft hatch, to test the signal. no need to feed the cable all the way to the lounge tv.
Thanks for advice. Will give it some thought, but am still hoping to find someone cheap and reliable as pos that could sort it out. But will need to see if it's better to go the whole hog and sort out a roof aerial.0 -
Local TV shop round here wanted £180 for fitting an Ariel, went to HOmebase and got a decent one from Homebase will all the fittings and cabling and put it in the loft and cost £300

Buy an arial from Argos for £20, comes with coax cable as well and fit it yourself. Using an assistant near the TV , move the arial until the best possible signal is achieved (trial and error really).A top tip is to look at other houses and see what way their arials are pointing (aim roughly for the same angle and your almost there).
Hope this saves you lots of money.0 -

Many thanks for suggestions. Definitely looking like fitting it myself will need to be done, as £180 is way out of my and my neighbour's budget!0 -

Many thanks for suggestions. I've just been looking on the Argos site, and seen various ... am wondering about how to fit it to be honest! There's 15 metres of cable comes along with an aerial and kit I've just also seen on the Maplin's site, but my neighbour's flat is upstairs, and I'm not sure how I'll be able to fit it down to our flat and into two rooms. I don't know how many tv's my neighbour has yet ... I think it's just one.0 -
Bumping it up :-)0

If you could sketch the layout of the building and where your flats are in relation to where the ariel is gonna go and outside walls i could see what might be best0
