because this one is not in stock, or even released yet! There will be plenty of time for them to realise the mistake and cancel the orders long before any money changes hands.

Well I suppose however it pans out its worth a try.... just placed my order... its still listing as £5! fingers crossed.....

By the way... just did a test pre order on guitar hero 2 to see if the pre order prce was £5 etc - it came up in the basket as the full price £62.99!!!!

This might be a silly question but will this game work on my normal XBOX?
And if not, will halo 3 become available on x box?

I hate the idea of buying a new console every couple of years just to keep up with new games.

i've ordered it, it came up as £5 in my basket and it went through as £5. i'll check my statement later.
If it does charge £69.99 in november then you can return it within 21 days for a full refund - so it's defo worth the risk
The T & C's state:

You may withdraw your order for goods at any time up to the end of the twenty first working day after you have received the goods. You do not need to give HMV any reason for withdrawing your order nor will you have to pay any penalty.
