Halo 3 Limited Edition Misprice @ HMV

Halo 3 Legendary Edition priced at £69.99 at HMV but when adding to basket comes up at £5.00. Don't think this is the price to secure pre order as the standard version(pre order) comes up at £39.99 when added to your basket. I've had an email to confirm order and price. Don't know if they'll honour the price once they've realised the misprice but hey, its worth a go.:D

Could be, I suppose. I really am only interested in renting Halo 3 given I didn't think the originals were that great. But if you try to pre-order Halo 3 normal or Halo Wars, it charges you full price. It may be that the Legendary edition will, in theory, be available in limited quantities, hence having to pre-order but not being certain of getting one.

If you add another 'Pre-order' game it goes in at full price, so looks like a genuine error.

'Halo 3' Legendary Edition
The Legendary Edition will be released in limited quantities and arrive in a highly collectible Spartan helmet case that no hardcore 'Halo' fan should be without, along with two bonus disks full of additional content.

The first disk provides exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage and videos, including a high-definition “Making of 'Halo 3'” documentary showcasing the Bungie team and its effort to create the most anticipated title in the industry's history; numerous high-definition featurettes documenting the creative design processes involved in developing the game; and even a look at some early game concepts and their evolution through the game's development. But according to their online help:

and "Please be aware that prices displayed in your shopping bag are the current prices of the goods and the amount you will be charged for each item when submitting your order." (http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/navigate.do?ctx=1663;-1;-1;-1&pPageID=1664)

so i would assume that it is the price for sale, not for a deposit.
