Santander Online Payment to Halifax

Hi there everyone,

Basically last night £1200 was transferred from my Santander account to my Halifax account via "Faster Payments". I just set up the transfer as a new payee and although money has left Santander, still no sign at Halifax!

I've Googled and the £300 limit seems to have been lifted but I'm a bit concerned the money still hasn't landed!

Anyone had similar experiences?

Nevermind - just showed up! So the answer is 17 hours!

Yeah, I had an FP from Santander delayed last night too, but I thought maybe they wanted to fraud check as it was a large amount to a new account. The regulations only say they have to arrive by the next working day though.

Gets hijacked by their "fraud department" as part of their "security measures". Happens to me all the time, ive spent hours on the phone complaining about it. Its a fully automated proceedure that no one has any control over (alledgedly). Very frustrating if you are counting on the funds being somewhere else.
