Halifax in Scotland

I'm trying to find out whether there are any branches of Halifax in Scotland as I would like to pay a cheque in. I've searched online and there are no branches in Edinburgh or Glasgow so I assume there aren't any at all in Scotland.
Does anyone know if I would be able to pay the cheque in via a branch of Bank of Scotland seeing as Halifax are now part of HBOS?
