I stand corrected! That's very good - their description is not misleading in their favour!
Instead, it looks like it contains no insulation :-(Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
The case will get hot when using the oven our old Sharp one got hot as well.
Picked up mine this morning they sold 2 pallet loads by 09.30 !0 -
Yes, to be fair, if you are expecting it to remain as cool as a conventional microwave you're going to be surprised by how hot a combination device will inevitably get.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

My local one is sold out0

We have a 12 year old Sharp at the moment so decided to replace it with this oven... what a bargain...
My other'arf picked up ours this morning... I haven't seen or used it yet... but from what I have heard they were all gone before 10am.0 -
Went to my local Aldi only to find that they had sold out. Went and got some other bits and pieces and asked a member of staff if they were getting any more in. He pointed to what had been an empty space and said 'there is one there!'.
Much embarassment from me as I went to get it. He said he had one put by out the back but it wasn't needed anymore. Wondered why but didn't stop to ask as I loaded it in my trolley.
Looks an excellent buy for £59.990 -
Id also check out tesco`s offerings. I bought a stainless steel microwave, 900w with grill for about 40quid from them the other week. Its tesco`s own brand but looks suspeciously like an hinari.0

I got the Aldi microwave today.
It is a fantastic bargain
This model is a full size one as well, not like those tiny ones you see in Tesco.
I was looking at getting a Sharp or Panasonic for at least £120
The build quality is actually better than a Panasonic I saw in Currys which had a bent door, and seemed quite flimsy.
This microwave has saved me loads of money.
I also bought the digital kitchen scales for £7.99 which are also brilliant
Also bought electric nail/staple gun for £7.99
Total spent £75.97 which is still cheaper than buying the similar microwave in Argos on it's own0 -
also got this today.tried it out with a pizza tonight and it cooked it in 6 minutes (oven setting) . impressed.-....-.---.---. ..... .- -.-.
