Hi all,
I hope some of you techy bods can point me in the right direction!
Im off on holiday soon and would like to know if there is a way I can put my own films onto my mobile phone so I can watch them during the flight.
I did take a look at the android market to install a film but they are only for rental so I would have to watch it within a certain time rather than at a time of my choice.
I have a Motorola defy.

To qualify what I'm going to say: I don't have a Motorola (although I know that one is Android based) and I haven't had an Android phone for a while (I have an iPhone now).
I have used http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html successfully on several platforms. All you have to do is copy across the AVI file and VLC should be able to play it ...0 -
Get the biggest memory card your phone will take and load the movies on that. The basic Android player app will probably be adequate but no doubt there are many more - and VLC is a good and versatile one.
Plenty sites have movies converted to the most efficent form for phones but I'm not naming them here.0 -
cheers guys!0

This is what David Lynch thinks about it... ;-)
