Issues fitting fridge freezer in my kitchen

Hopefully this will make sense!
I've currently got a side-by-side undercounter fridge freezer, which measures just under 90cm wide. It seems to be on its last legs, and I've since found that this kind/size aren't made anymore. There's no space to get separate undercounter fridge and freezers in its place as they all seem to be 50cm wide- there's only just enough room for the existing one. I considered getting an undercounter fridge with an ice box, but I really need more freezer space than that.
I've looked at whether I could take out a cupboard and put a fridge or freezer there, but my cupboards are also too narrow! I've got a galley kitchen but the whole thing is quite small and if I put an undercounter fridge or freezer on the other side of the galley, it will stick out so far that it'll make getting through the kitchen difficult.
So this seems to leave me with one option, which is to take out the worktop over the current fridge freezer and remove a small cabinet above that, to fit in a tall fridge freezer (approx 150cm tall). The only space to do this is next to the oven - but I spoke to someone today who said this wouldn't be allowed under regulations etc. It's an electric oven and he said there needs to be a 30cm gap between the oven and the fridge freezer. There is space to move the freezer across 30cm away from the oven, but it then blocks a cupboard door to access the fuse box and electric meter!
I assume he is right about the distance from the oven, but just wanted to check if there is any leeway on this?
Also, does anyone have any idea what it might cost to move a fuse box and meter? That seems to be one way of solving the problem....
Or if anyone knows where to get a very narrow fridge-freezer that would fit in the 90cm gap under the counter, that would be great!

Ovens in tall units next to american fridges are not 30cms away.
The Hob needs to be 30cm away from a tall unit if gas and can sometimes get away with around 15/20cms for an electric.0 -
Thank you, that's very helpful. I've since worked out I could change the door to the fuse box cupboard to one that slides/folds or similar and then I can fit the fridge-freezer 30cm away from the hob and still get to the cupboard when needed0
