That's because it has a 17.1" screen.

Nothing amazing in the 17"+ screen size at the moment.
There is this 17.3" widescreen Toshiba Satellite C670 14N from Argos Outlet for £271.48.
If a standard 15.6" widescreen, they have this MSI CR640 for £305.98, which specification-wise. is as good as you are going to get for your budget.

I was going to suggest having a look at BigPockets, they have a good range of refurbished business laptops.
However anyone who uses the term 'lappie' should be barred from owning one so I won't.:D

Are you joking? Why would anyone spend £300 on a laptop from there?
Perhaps if you had a budget of under £150 and/or needed some function that wasn't available on the newer designs.0
