I guess it would be OK if you have a large outbuilding or something like that going spare (and plenty of spare time!) After all, much freshly cut timber needs storing for two years to season properly. However, it's easy to stack and doesn't take up much room per potential Kw/hr, or whatever.
Next door to me, some traditional craftsmen make breeze block sized cob (mud) bricks using straw & local earth. I'm not sure how long they take to dry, but they are lined-out in an open barn. It can't possibly be two years anyway!0 -
I can't help but think it might be almost as quick to utilise the poo to grow some sort of crop plant which you could then burn? Or harvest for bio-oil? Or something like that anyway. Or find a local coal or timber merchant that has an allotment and do some trading?Val.0
