                    Hi all,
I just listed a TomTom system on ebay. When I listed the item, and subsequently revised it, I got a "VeRO warning", along the lines of "Are you trying to list a counterfeit item? This is illegal"
As far as I can see, there's nothing in my listing to suggest that the item is counterfeit. Is this just something that always happens for certain categories or does it mean that the auction is likely to get pulled?

That message always comes up if certain trademarked names belonging to VeRO members appear in your title. It doesn't mean the system has noticed anything which suggests your item may be a fake: it's not that smart. Your listing could still get pulled if someone reports it as a possible fake or for some other bogus reason, and some VeRO members pull listings from unauthorised sellers selling genuine goods, which sucks.0

A friend of mine listed a brand new TomTom on ebay and it was removed by ebay because they weren't a listed franchise with TomTom and so were unable to sell new goods. But if your item is not new then i see no reason for ebay to take any action.Hi all,
