Hi firstly I feel a bit daft but hey here goes - i have forgotten which company i have my contents insurance with!
I purchased last year after getting a quote (not Comapre the Market as nothing stored under me or Hubby, MoneySupermarket cant find any details of my mail address) so i checked banks statements and there was a payment by Visa paid in November to the following:
CGU Int Insurance NORWICH
I have called Aviva who have no record and they dont have any details for me. They think it maybe a broker as all their payments would say Aviva. Is there anyway to find out who i am registered with? Oh its Contents btw, Buildings i was slightly more sensible and have the documents.
I have also tried calling numbers on the web for the company and i get the Aviva switchboard, they did also suggest i a CGU in Glasgow but the number is out of order!
Help!!!!!

There are quite a few parts of Aviva (including the old CGU and NU).
There is an Aviva representative on this board who will hopefully help. They will be able to find you from postcode, date of birth etc.0 -
great i can't understand how a broker would show CGU as thats the where the money goes!0

Martin thanks for the reply but we now have it sorted! Hubby called back and spoke to a manager who checked on a seperate database where the broker details are held. Was sorted in 5 mins and the lady actually tranferred us through.....
