I have been with the New Zealand nt since 2006 and have never had any problems using the card. The attendants are always friendly and are happy to have a chat about the card. And yes I tell them I'm from England. That's all I'm saying as on the other thread on this subject it got a bit nasty.

The pass ended up costing us £41.77 and todays entry fees would have been £10.50 so another 3 uses and it'll have paid for itself. The national trust place we visited today is only a 15 minute drive from ours so I can see us visiting there quite often. We're off to Scotland at the end of the month so hoping to use it in a few places there too.
I know some people may think what I have done is unethical, but at the end of the day this is a money saving site, and what I have done is entirely legal and has saved us money.
We did end up visiting their coffee shop whilst there and had a drink and cake each so still spent money whilst there, and I'm sure any profit they make from these types of sale go back into maintaining the place so we're still contributing
So money saving trumps ethics?

So the person who does it legally is slated here, but the other person who gains entry by deceipt, by going in signing up, knowing they are going to cancel, just to gain free entry, is let off?

No all are indeed wrong.
We've seen on this site
People who take our a direct debit to get in for free and then cancel immediatly afterwards
People who share cards across families - once again against the T&C
People who join the NZ NT to avoid/evade UK charges0 -
And as seen on the Other thread, you DONT get free parking with the NZ card.!!
Of course you may well get away with it, thats a different question.0 -

Actually in the nz member pack it says different, and we have not once been asked to pay, even by attendants who have seen the card, and we have asked to pay.
Ps please look up the word fraud.0 -

So it says in the NZ that parking on UK sites is free?
Not being asked to pay is not the same as not having to pay.0 -
From the NZ Historic Places Trust site http://www.historicplaces.org.nz/newMemberForm.aspxUpdate
Please note that incorrect information is circulating that our membership benefits include free parking at sites in the UK. Charges may apply for parking, use of amenities and at times of special events and exhibitions.0
