    Siro-A

Often described as Japan’s answer to the Blue Man Group, Siro-A perfectly fuse modern technology with mime, breath-taking optical illusions, movement and comedy all set to a pulsating electro beat. This visually stunning show performed to 30,000 people at the Shanghai Expo and won the Spirit of the Fringe award at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival. Spectacular family entertainment fusing video mapping, laser lights and on stage DJ’s to create entertainment for the next generation.
“A brilliant, bright and beautiful show… some of the most manic and animated human performers you are likely to see anywhere. It’s mime, but not as we know it!” Total Theatre Review

“At one point, I couldn't tell the difference between live performer and projected image. This is a spectacular visual experience. This Japanese company overwhelm with staggering technological interactions between multimedia, performer and audience member". Broadway Baby

    TONIGHT

    11th Feb 2013 at 19:00

Words on Monday - Howard Goodall

    Availability as I post

    1 location - KINGS PLACE, LONDON, N1 9AG

Howard Goodall, author of the recently published Story of Music, talks to Edward Seckerson about compressing 40,000 years into a book and BBC TV series, but above all about his own passion for music as a composer, broadcaster and listener.
Howard Goodall is an Emmy, BRIT and BAFTA award-winning composer of choral music, stage musicals, film and TV scores - among them Vicar of Dibley, Red Dwarf, QI and Blackadder - as well as a distinguished broadcaster and the author of Big Bangs: The Story of Five Discoveries that Changed Musical History. In recent years he has been England's first ever National Ambassador for Singing, the Classical Brit Composer of the Year, and Classic FM's Composer-in-Residence. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2011 New Year Honours for services to music education.

Edward Seckerson is a founder member of The Arts Desk.Com. He wrote and presented the long-running BBC Radio 3 series Stage & Screen in which he interviewed many of the most prominent writers and stars of musical theatre.

"A new history of music is a roller-coaster ride from bone flutes to Mariah Carey" **** - Ivan Hewett - The Telegraph

I actually searched for another place to put this.

This forum isn't evident as it was buried, so I put it on the cinema thread, no discussion.
Why not make it a sticky so it'll be much easier to post in the correct place?? Or even better, keeping codes for cinema and theatre tickets in the same place? Common sense.
